Affordable Housing Survey

Objective of the survey - To find user preferences for housing in the affordable category

Analysis - About 50 per cent of internet users in India are looking for a 2-bedroom house to call their home, and find the Rs 5-10 lakh bracket affordable. About 1,000 Indian internet users participated in this survey.

The survey found that the basic level of services the respondents aspired to included water and power back-up, and scored significantly over premium lifestyle features, such as clubs and swimming pools that most big developers offer. Of this, about 54% belonged to megacities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata while the remaining 46% came from smaller cities and towns like Nasik, Ludhiana and Batala.

Retail Survey

Objective of the survey - To find the shopping habits of users

Analysis - The simultaneous boom in real estate and retail segments has prompted existing players to rent/hire/buy outlets in upcoming retail complexes. Hence, it is important for retailers to understand the shopping habits of mall goers.

Our survey found that most users prefer to drive to the closest mall than drive 2 hours to a cluster of malls. Of the respondents, 70% said that they visited malls because malls have most brands. Usually, a consumer has to go from one market to other in searh of their brands but since malls have a cluster of brands, they win with the customers.

Office Survey
Objective - To find the end user preferences on office space utilities.
Analysis - office is a meeting place for thinking minds. But is it really? How would you describe your office – an organized chaos or a tastefully done up working space? We ran a survey to find out what kind of features people like in their offices and what they consider as good office. Majority of the people (70%) responded that they like office cafeteria, free parking space, and easy transportation. Other feature that people are looking is office should be near their home, should have ATM and entertainment complex. Multiple responses were given by the people from different cities describing their office complexes as good working environment delivers best product.

Green Survey
Objective - To check the ‘green quotient’ of people at large. Analysis – Green is the colour of today. The whole world is spreading the message of adapting green technology to save nature and make the environment healthy. Brix research ran a survey to check the basic knowledge level of the consumer about green techniques. It also grasped the level of actual usage of any eco friendly product or technique by a common user.
Majority of the respondents have green pavements outside their homes and are reusing water at home. Few also said that they are using energy efficient fixtures and use BEE certified products only. We received interesting responses from across the country proving people are becoming aware about the advantages and significance of using eco-friendly products.

PG Survey
Objective - To find the points of consideration while choosing PG accommodations.
Analysis - People migrating to other cities for in search of job, for studies and business purposes comprise the floating population. This set of population usually forms the Paying Guest segment of the end-use class. Brix research ran a survey to find out what people primarily look for in a PG accommodation.
52% of the respondents uses internet to locate PG and more than half of total look for 1 room arrangement. Majority of the respondents share a room and pays somewhere Rs 2500-Rs 3500 per month. People responded on other questions also related to food given or not, nature of landlord & roommates, furnishing of room etc.
