NHB Residex Client: The National Housing Bank (NHB) Study Objective-NHB's Residex is the country's only official real estate index. Brix Research tracked actual real estate transactions across five cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Bhopal - to determine real estate movements, price indications, locality preferences and lifestyle features. Brix Research data along with financial data from banks and trends tracked by the Reserve Bank of India formed the backbone of residential real estate index called Residex. NHB Acknowledgements Residex		NHB Baseline Survey Study Objective- To identify 25-30 active residential localities in the 10 selected cities for NHB Residex. The localities were then positioned into their respective property tax zones or administrative zones and geographical zones. Care was taken to select localities which were active in residential transactions and had potential for active transactions till 2012. Localities selected were representative of every housing category such as Lower Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), Higher Income Group (HIG) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The data has been collected from city authorities and other market sources.
